Kinesiology Body Balance
Before a full body balance, several screening tests take place: http://www.creativekinesiology.com/kinesiologyscreeningtests.htm
There are various ways to start the diagnostics. I'll describe a couple of the most common ones I use.
Pulse Synchronisation
This method is popular with clients on their first session as it tests for every organ and energy meridian that has been weakened over time by long term ill health/stress. This does take a lot longer than other methods but gives very useful insight to a clients symptoms (not root cause).
The body is always trying to fix itself; any system out of balance and the body will compensate. Compensations in the body are usually the result of accumulated imbalances that have not yet been resolved.
Many imbalances quickly dissapear when others are resolved. There is a domino effect to balancing, which means that when the PRIORITY imbalance is corrected the others will correct themselves automatically.
1. I start with all the screening tests described here: http://www.creativekinesiology.com/kinesiologyscreeningtests.htm and find a SIM (Strong indicator muscle) such as the pectoralis major sternal (liver), anterior deltoid (gall bladder) or latissimus dorsi (spleen)
2. I test 1-2 muscles related to EACH energy system (and related organ) to see which ones are weak, strong or hypertonic.
3. I normally test around 20-30 muscles and that gives a very big picture.
4. For each organ and energy system that tests weak or hypertonic, I test for all the 7 factors of the IVF (see: http://www.creativekinesiology.com/whatiskinesiology.htm ) that may be causing malfunctioning.
5. The client and I then connect and synchronise our pulses. When the heart beats unite, the client and I become totally in tune with each other and truth and healing takes place.
6. On re-testing all the previously weak or hypertonic muscles/energy systems, usually only one or two will remain weak and this is the area that needs working on. (All the previously tested weak muscles, energy systems and their associate aspects were compensatory weaknesses.)
7. Corrections are made using various tools and techniques based on which aspects are malfunctioning. By aspects, I mean testing for lymphatic and vascular blockages, poor nutrition, poor energy flow, whether there is a fixation or subluxation, emotional stressor etc.
Wrist Pulses for Over-Energy
1. Do all screening tests and then find a SIM (strong indicator muscle) I wrote about that here: http://www.creativekinesiology.com/kinesiologyscreeningtests.htm
Since the client will be using their hands, I need to find a strong leg muscle, such as the quadriceps (small intestine), psoas (kidney) or gluteus medius (Circulation-Sex).

This picture above shows the pulse points for all the yin meridians in the body. (The yang meridians are small intestine, gall bladder, bladder, large intestine, stomach and triple warmer).
2. Having the client contact all twelve individual pulse points, I test the SIM. Unless the client is switched (in that case I will need to go through some of the Screening tests again), only one of these pulse points will make the SIM weaken.
3. The meridian that belongs to the pulse point that weakens is related to a state of over-energy. (An over-energy can be likened to a blocked lake, where the water stagnates; not allowing the water to freely flow to all the rivers and streams. When this takes place, the rivers and streams dry up.)
4. Using a 5 elements wheel (acupuncture/TCM) I start testing various muscles related to different meridians and organs which flow from the over-energy. I locate the first yin muscle that is under energised.
Picture shows the 5 element wheel
5. I test the under-energised meridian/organ to see which aspects are weak. By testing aspects, I mean testing for lymphatic and vascular blockages, poor nutrition, poor energy flow, whether there is a fixation or subluxation, emotional stressor etc.
6. I then make all the corrections necessary for all the weak aspects using tools and techniques used for correction.
For example, if it's the kidney that is under-energised and the meridian energy is testing weak, I may use a sound tuning fork vibrating to the frequency of the kidney meridian plus also tone the MEI points (meridian energy interchange). If there is a blockage in the lymphatic area, I would help the client locate the exact area for the lymphatic blockage related to the Kidney and massage that until the block is removed.
7. When the under-energised meridian/organ has been corrected, it pulls the over-energy into all the different systems of the body and balance takes place.
Other Corrections
Only after a full body balance as described by the 2 examples above (Pulse Synchronisation and Wrist Pulses) can other corrections be made.
There are so many techniques in applied kinesiology, it would be impossible to list them all here!
Some of the more common tests and corrections after a body balance:
Because the possibilties are endless, most kinesiologists tend to specialise based on their previous trainings and interest.
Other tests
I have several kinesiology test kits which can be used for testing after a body balance.
You can read about test kits here and how they are made: http://www.creativekinesiology.com/testkits.htm

Using a Surrogate
Because of age, debilitative disease, acute pain, and local pathology or inflammation etc., the use of a surrogate may be necessary.
A surrogate is someone that connects with the client via touch or through the use of a hair sample. Surrogates that I use are ones that I have primed for such work, through receiving regular body balances, so that their energy is in top form. That way, we can get to work very quickly. The surrogate takes on the energy imbalances of the client, but is physically strong enough for me to do the corrective work.
Occasionally, a client may want to bring a surrogate of their own (normally a healthy friend or relative, who I can use for testing, once a body balance takes place).
A surrogate also makes distant kinesiology work possible.
Surrogacy is also recommended for working with babies, young children, animals and the elderly.
Because a surrogate connects to the client's energy, it is essential that they are emotionally and physically balanced. Many a time a surrogate takes on board the emotional baggage of a client for a short period of time, so only someone in excellent health may be able to work this through their system quickly, without harm.
